Misfortune Cookie

This evening, Grant and I dined at a Chinese buffet.  At the end of the meal, I notice Grant was enjoying his fortune cookie.  I asked him what his fortune read, he paused, looked at me and then pulled the fortune from the partially eaten cookie in his mouth.

Demolition Derby

These pictures were taken back in August of 2007.  This was my first and only experience in a derby.  Nine cars started and I lasted 3rd or 4th longest.  Made a mistake by using a 5-point safety harness and I coudn't turn around to see where I was going, so I used the front of the car instead of the rear.  I purchased the car from a woman's estate for $50, entered it in the derby for $30, and then scrapped it for about $150.  Pretty fun.

The King!

I spotted Elvis Presley the other night at WalMart.  After I took the picture, I asked the cashier if he comes to that store often.  She said that he comes there about twice a week and he loves for people to comment about his attire, etc.  The cashier stated that she thinks he's not quite right. Ya Think?

Trenton's Birthday Supper

Earlier this evening we had supper at a Hibachi restaurant to celebrate Trenton's birthday.  We had a wonderful meal and also had the pleasure of sharing a table with a family from Bulgaria. 

At The Movies

During a converstation with a fellow employee this week it was insinuated that I was being critical.  She asked, "Who do you think you are?  Cisco and Lubert?".  I then had absolutely no choice but to be critical.

Not for Kids

I am glad to see that this store is doing their part to help the children.  Would someone really buy this for their kid(s)?
